Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars

You can also call these homemade Reese’s cups. With self chosen ingredients and knowing exactly what goes into your recipe, it’s taking charge of your own health. Everything in moderation, those are rich and delicious, and only a little piece will satisfy your sweet tooth. They are also easy to store in the fridge or even freezer, to savor it and indulge when you need it most. This is also accepted on a keto and gluten free diet if that is your concern.

1/2 cup of melted butter, slightly melted and cooled ( you can choose here ghee or coconut oil)

1/2 teaspoon of sugar ( stevia, honey substituted or completely omitted is OK)

1/2 cup of natural creamy peanut butter (note if your peanut butter is sweetened you may need to adjust the amount of sugar, here also almond or cashew butter can be used)

1 cup of almond flour

Topping – 3/4 cups of dark chocolate chips ( be creative and use milk or white chocolate chips)

Take a brownie dish, spray with cooking spray. Melt the butter and warm the peanut butter slightly, mix butter, peanut butter, sugar, almond flour together and pour in the pan. Put the pan in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes, until it is hardened.

Melt the chocolate and pour over the peanut butter mixture. Smooth it out and let it stand in the fridge until it is hard.

As mentioned above, this is a great dessert to keep in the fridge in a dish and help yourself to a piece a day to satisfy your sugar craving.
